Hailey grew up in Lindale, TX before attending LSU for undergrad (Geaux Tigers) and then moving to Dallas for Physical Therapy school in 2021. Matthew grew up in Austin, TX before receiving his Landscape Architecture degree from Texas A&amp;M (Gig ‘Em) and moving to Dallas for work in 2019.&nbsp; Like most modern love stories nowadays, Matthew &amp; Hailey swiped right on their forever loves back in the fall of 2022. Their first date was at Bowlski’s Lakewood Theater. On this first date, they got to talking about where they each lived in Dallas, and wouldn’t you know, they were neighbors! Matthew &amp; Hailey shared the same apartment building and floor, they lived just around the corner from each other. How’s that for a small world? We truly believe God’s hand was present in the meeting of Hailey &amp; Matthew. We know the Lord has blessed this relationship and He placed them in each other’s lives. Hailey &amp; Matthew fell in love with each other throughout 2023, spending time going on walks on University Crossing Trail behind their apartment, tasting all the different restaurants (&amp; margaritas) Dallas has to offer, and spending time with their family &amp; friends. Hailey &amp; Matthew have been attending Eastside Community Church, and plan to continue to attend and grow in their relationship with the Lord. On August 30, 2024, Hailey &amp; Matthew were on a trip to Cancun, Mexico for Hailey’s 26th Birthday, and Matthew told her she needed to be ready for a “Special Dinner.” Matthew had a photographer take their photos on the beach, and at one point Hailey turned around to see Matthew on one knee asking her to marry him. It was the easiest “YES” Hailey has ever said. They celebrated their new engagement with a private dinner on the beach and with an amazing surprise engagement party with their closest friends and families when they got back to Dallas. We are so beyond excited to start this new chapter in our lives and to have our family and friends join us for our big day of celebration! We are thankful for all your prayers and blessings on our relationship. We look forward to having you all with us to celebrate our love and the start of this new journey together in June!&nbsp;
