Ryan and Hailey met as all romantic love stories begin... at an over crowded bar in college. Both juniors at Sacred Heart University, Hailey saw Ryan at the beginning of a night out and later on, after being impatient, decided to walk up and say hello. After some initial conversation, which pretty much consisted of Hailey and Ryan yelling "I can't hear you sorry" due to the music being so loud, numbers were exchanged and first dates began. Over the course of the rest of junior and senior year, Hailey and Ryan continued to get to know one another, introduced each other to family members, and had plenty of heated debates over whether New York or Boston is the superior city.

After graduation, Ryan enlisted in the Army and began his career as an Airborne Medic, while Hailey started graduate school for Social Work. Over the next 3 years, Hailey and Ryan would navigate the highs and lows of being a long distance couple. It certainly was not easy, but with trust, communication, and most importantly faith in God, they came out of the distance even closer, despite the physical distance that they endured. Knowing that if they can get through this, then they can get through anything else, Ryan began planning to ask that big question. Planning that included drawing awful shaped diamonds on a piece of paper, and asking Hailey which one she preferred. After lots of planning, prepping, and a car breaking down, Ryan proposed on July 25th, 2021 in Hailey's favorite place, Lake George.

Knowing that they were ready to commit, they decided to have a small intimate wedding on December 30th, 2021. This small wedding was a first wedding "just for us." They still knew, however, that they wanted to have larger wedding that included family, friends, and most importantly God. And so, that brings us to the present, which includes planning for a wedding that celebrates their love with the ones that they love.

Each and every one of you mean the absolute world to us, and are just as part of our story. The love that you all have given us both individually, and as a couple, have carried us through all of those highs and lows.
