Enjoy a stroll along the historic San Antonio Riverwalk! These 15 mile long sidewalks lined with restaurants and shops, connect all the major tourist draws such as the La Villita, Hemisfair Park, the Tower of Life Building, the the San Antonio Museum of Art, and the city's five Spanish colonial missions, including the Alamo.
A beautiful place to walk around, do some shopping, or grab a bite to eat. There is a local farmers market every Saturday and Sunday morning. It is also on the riverwalk!
This interactive art museum is full of surprises and incredible works of art created by some of the best local living artists! Really fun and different experience! Walking distance from Hotel Havana. And be sure to check out the murals at Travis Park Church across the street :)
Historic Market Square is a San Antonio classic gem! You can't miss it! Located on the west side of downtown, Market Square is a three-block outdoor plaza lined with shops, and restaurants. It is the largest Mexican market in the United States. The "El Mercado" section has 32 specialty shops and the "Farmer's Market Plaza" section has 80. So grab a michelada and do some shopping! There is also a free art gallery located on the premises of the market, Centro de Bellas Artes, you don't want to miss it! Also be sure to check out the mural on the Commerce side of the Farmers Market :)
The McNay is an art museum in a mansion built in 1929 (that was once home to Miriam McNay), with a contemporary addition. From paintings and sculptures to works on paper and more, the McNay offers a unique art museum experience throughout their 25-acre campus. A beautiful place to take in some beautiful works of art!
