Hailey's younger sister Anna has had a front row view of the couple's journey. As Bramble's favorite aunt, Anna also supports the couple through preparing countless family dinners and laughing at Zach's dad jokes.

Olivia and Hailey met in the sixth grade, and have been friends ever since! They often joke that they survived the trauma of Catholic schooling because of each other, and as adults they have bought homes, navigated first real jobs, and raised their adopted dogs together.

Hailey and Emma met in Irish Dance class in the first grade. Throughout little league softball, sweaty middle school dances, lame high school drama, and Italian classes at Ohio State, Emma has been a constant friend.

Katie has watched Zach grow up, as she has been in his life for over 10 years. Hailey met Katie only one time before she was kind enough to offer Zach a plus one to her wedding back in 2018. Katie is a fiercely loyal sister-in-law and friend, and the couple is always grateful for her graciously hosting their visits to Cleveland.

Brandi jokes that despite being married to the eldest James (Nick), Zach is still her favorite of the three brothers. Hailey met Brandi (and Collins, the eldest flower girl and Brandi's first born) at Alex and Katie's wedding in 2018, and they have been inseparable ever since.

Anthony and Hailey met as neighbors on Indian Springs as toddlers! With the Mattes siblings being 1 year older than their Gulla counterparts, there was a year where the friends represented each class at Watterson.

Hailey has had the pleasure of being Caroline's bonus big sister and has known her since she was a baby. Throughout countless joint family vacations and holiday celebrations, Caroline always adds a sense of levity to any occasion.
