ARE THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION TAKING PLACE AT THE SAME LOCATION?

Yes! Both the ceremony and the reception will take place at The Farmer's Daughter and Son located at 610 Goose Run Rd. Marietta, Ohio 45750.

IS THE WEDDING INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

The wedding ceremony will take place on the lawn, weather permitting. Cocktail hour and dinner will take place indoors.

IS THERE PARKING ONSITE?

Yes! There is a parking lot that will allow plenty of room for guests.

CAN I LEAVE MY CAR OVERNIGHT?

Yes! The venue allows cars to stay parked overnight so long as they are picked up the next day. We strongly encourage guests who partake in the open bar to leave their car or find alternative transportation.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

We are SO excited to see our guests dressed up for our big day! Please wear something comfortable because we expect it to be a long evening full of dancing. Our theme is Wildflowers so the more colorful and fun the outfit the better!

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

The ceremony will begin at 5:30pm. We ask that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow time for parking and seating.

WILL THERE BE AN OPEN BAR?

Well it depends on who is asking...Yes! Drinks on us! We will have beer, wine and two signature drinks. *please bring a valid ID

CAN I TAKE PHOTOS/VIDEOS DURING THE CEREMONY?

We would love for all of our family and friends to be present in the moment with us. We kindly ask our guests to silence their phones and refrain from taking photos and videos during the ceremony. Our photographer will take care of the photos during the ceremony. Guests are free to take as many photos as they want at the reception.

WILL IT BE HOT?

Yes! We are praying for a cooler August day, but I expect it to be very warm. We will have fans and waters for our guests. We plan on keeping the ceremony short and sweet!

WHAT'S ON THE MENU?

If anyone knows us well, you will know that Mexican is one of our favorites. We will be having a mexican buffet. There will be beef and chicken options. We will also be having an assortment of appetizers during cocktail hour.

We will be providing transportation from the venue to the Holliday Inn starting at 10pm.
