The beginning started roughly around summer of 2010 we’ve really known each other our whole lives. Our family’s camped at the same camp ground for most of our lives. We had met a few times when we were young, our family’s hung out and passed by each other in the park. Then after the night Zane finally got my phone number we started “dating”. We were 11 and 12 and you can’t really call it dating but we thought we were haha. We talked over Facebook every day and called each other all the time. We eventually didn’t work out long distance and young age and all. We didn’t talk for a few years and then one weekend in 2013 I was camping with friends and family and we decided to prank call some people I had in my contacts. I called Zane attempted to prank him it didn’t really work and we ended up talking for hours. After I came home we decided to meet up at the camp ground where him and his family were camping during the summer. We just hit it off the second we got together and we’re inseparable for a few months. I came to the campground every weekend and our parents would meet half way just so we could see each other. He lived in Cle elum and I was in Moses lake. I was 14 he was 15 and long distance was very hard. After a while it became hard to travel back and forth due to school and summer ending. We broke up. It was our first real heart break. That’s when we realized we really did love each other. They always say you never stop loving your first love. 4 and a half years later he adds me on Facebook. I was stunned. I never thought we would talk again. I made the first move and messaged him. We had both been through rough relationships over those 5 years and didn’t think anything would come of us re connecting over Facebook. After he and his amazing mom came and visited me at work we decided we should hangout. I came camping with his family I drove to his house every weekend I could. We became really close again and took things slow. Then one night we were camping and climbed in the tent to go to sleep and he asked me to officially be his girlfriend. A month or 2 later things didn’t work out at my job and I was really disappointed. I didn’t know what to do I was so stressed and felt like I was stuck in a ditch. So I asked his parents if I could come move in with them for different opportunities and a change of scenery. I was sad to leave my mom and baby sister but it needed to happen. We eventually both found a job at Suncadia and we’re really happy. 1 and a half years later we decided to move out together and get our own place to call home. Here we are 2 full years of dating and we are so in love. We really were made to be together. Our story is long and complicated. But we found our way back to each other and couldn’t be happier. We always talked about marriage but never knew when it would happen. And one day Zane knew he was ready and he asked me to be his wife. And that’s just the beginning of our life story.
