Yes! We have arranged shuttles to transport guests from the Whistler Gateway Bus Loop to the Whistler Sliding Centre. Guests must be at the pick-up location by no later than 2:35pm to catch the shuttle.
Transportation back to the Whistler Gateway Bus Loop from the venue has also been arranged, and return shuttles will run periodically starting at 9:30pm.
The Whistler Sliding Centre is located just above Whistler Village on the slopes of Blackcomb Mountain. Despite the venue being in close proximity to Whistler Village, we recommend that guests plan to take the shuttles that have been arranged to ensure that your arrival and departure is seamless and safe.
Parking at the venue will be limited.
We are excited to be hosting a welcome party on Friday, June 20, 2025 from 5-8pm at Forged Axe Throwing, located at 1208 Alpha Lake Road, Whistler, BC.
The couple will be covering the cost of axe throwing for all attendees and a cash bar will be available. Please be sure to wear closed-toed shoes.
Our wedding will be a formal affair. Guests are encouraged to wear formal attire, such as a suit of any color, a floor-length dress or formal cocktail dress, or dressy separates. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!
As the venue is outdoors, we recommend that all guests bring a light jacket so that the party can continue once the sun sets.
The wedding will have an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception - we ask that all guests please drink responsibly!
We recommend booking your accommodations early, as Whistler can be a popular destination at this time of year. We did not block out rooms given the large amount of lodging options available, so feel free to book a room where you feel most comfortable.
We recommend the following hotels if you would like to be in close proximity to the guest transportation that we have arranged for the wedding day:
Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside
Delta Hotels Whistler Village Suites
While the drive to Whistler is beautiful, the Sea to Sky Highway can be busy. We recommend that guests minimize travelling on the Saturday where possible to ensure that you don't miss the big day!
