It all started in 2016! William and his friends started to frequent Billy’s Longbar where Hailey had just started working the day shift. William was working nights at General Mills and would come in after a long shift to eat. They would talk a little bit, slowly learning about each other and then both go on with their days. It wasn’t until December of 2018 that things started to change from friends to something more.

It was a cool winter evening and Hailey was about to get off her shift at Billy’s when William and his friend walked in. They invited her to sit with them to have a drink when she got off shift. She happily joined and before you knew it the flirting started. They were joking and laughing and even sending her mom pictures teasing about how this guy could be “the one.” Neither of them wanted the night to end and was already dreading having to say goodnight. They went to a friends house and even out to another bar trying to stay around each other as long as possible. The chemistry was undeniable. But eventually the night would have to come to an end and they would have to part ways. When that time came William was a gentlemen and walked Hailey to her truck. Now was the awkward part where they had to decide if they would just hug and go home or one of them would try to go in for the kiss and see what could come of it. They lingered for what seemed like forever. Hailey sitting inside her truck with the window down while William stood against the door frame. Finally Hailey couldn’t wait any longer. She grabbed Williams face and planted one on him! His response was “I’ve been waiting for that kiss forever!” They left each other that night with the biggest smiles on their face and their hearts so happy. They talked every single day from that night on.

It is now 2023 and the Eakes Wedding is soon to come! We cannot wait to share this happy day with you all and hope you can make it!
