Our story begins Sophomore year of high school, playing Uno with our friends every morning before class. Through our interactions in our shared classes and morning meetings, our feelings began to develop. Over time, it was inevitable that we had secretly fallen for one another! Those feelings led us to pursue our relationship as more than friends.

Throughout Junior year and countless dates, our love began to grow stronger and stronger! Our adventures together helped us learn and appreciate each other by the day. We were inseparable! As time continued into our Senior year, we realized we had some more growing up to do as individuals, but not a day went by without one thinking about the other.

When we finally reunited, it was clear that we were both the same and different. Through our life experiences, we discovered we needed each other the most! We found importance in putting God at the center of our relationship, and prioritizing Him first further deepened our connection to one another.

Although long-distance was hard for the both of us, as we yearned for our time to be together again, we did not give up and continued to build the emotional part of our relationship. Our weekly virtual date nights helped secure us in prioritizing our time together, even if we weren't next to each other. It wasn't long before we reunited in person and shared long-awaited moments that we dreamed of, further solidifying our love for one another.

On February 28th, 2025, he, the Sunshine, proposed to his Flower, and with a delightful squeal, she said yes! We cannot wait to spend everyday with each other and hope to celebrate this occasion with all of our loved ones as we begin this next chapter of our lives!
