Alex and I both attended West Virginia University. We had mutual friends, but had never met until his final year at WVU. One night, I was having a pre-party before going out, and Alex and his friends walked into my house (no one was there yet) and I had no idea who they were. We eventually went to the party together, and enjoyed the night out with our friends. Alex's wifi quit working the next day, so he came over to my place to use the wifi...and he never really left. We've been inseparable ever since. Alex graduated a semester before I did, and moved back to Youngstown. We did long distance for that time, and visited each other every chance we got. After I graduated and moved back home, Alex came down to visit and go on vacation with me for my birthday. He then decided he was just going to move to Licking County and become a firefighter. We got our first apartment, he went back to school, and so did I. While we lived in our little apartment, we got two of the cutest dogs, I graduated with my masters in education and became a teacher, and Alex became a firefighter/paramedic. We got engaged in October of 2023, bought our first house in April 2024, and are so excited for the rest of our lives together!
