Absolutely not! However, Miami is a massive city and can be difficult to navigate if you're unfamiliar. The shuttle will leave from the wedding hotel, so if you plan on catching a ride, it would make it easier!

Homestead is about a 45-50 minute drive south of Miami. Kendall is a great option for convenience, as it's about the halfway point between Miami and the Venue. If you're looking for that quintessential Miami charm, Coral Gables or Coconut Grove would be great (but pricier) options. Miami Beach + South Beach are quite the haul, looking at closer to an 1.5 - 2 hour commute. While our venue is located in beautiful Homestead, we encourage our guests to find lodging in Miami. The only time we will spend there is on the day of the wedding. We will provide a shuttle to and from the venue on Sunday, and would hate for out of town guests to have to commute back and forth to the city! Lastly, the Florida Keys are a nice option if you're looking to make it a vacation weekend. Key Largo & Islamorada are both great locations and only about a 45 minute commute to the venue.

Neutrals, neutrals, NEUTRALS! We are asking that guest please avoid bright colors and patterns, and of course NO WHITE! The ceremony space is tucked inside a beautiful avocado grove, and we want the natural space to shine as well! For ladies, heels are not a requirement, as we want everyone to be comfy! Men are encouraged to wear a light sport coat or dress shirt with pants (plz no jeans or shorts!). Photos below for guidance/inspiration on colors & attire.
