For their 7 year anniversary Hailey and Devon took a long beautiful trip to Toadstool Geological park. After a lengthy drive with plenty of stops Hailey and Devon finally made it to the breathtaking toadstool. They both described it as monumental and breathtaking. Hailey and Devon would hike around Toadstool looking at all its scenic views for hours, taking in all its glory it has to offer. Hailey and Devon then shared a lunch they prepared as they took in the view once more. They soon met a lovely older couple to which they shared memories and upcoming events they had planned! 

As Hailey and Devon were talking to the older couple they decided to make a stop at Mount Rushmore! First they shared a cozy dinner at a little restaurant in Hot springs! They took the extra 2 hour trip and made it just as the sun was setting. Hailey and Devon agreed they couldn’t have gotten to Mount Rushmore at the perfect time! As a couple they took in the view, shared some pictures, Devon even went live on Facebook a few times! After taking in the view for quite some time they ended the day with a giant ice cream cone from a local shop. 

As the sky grew dark Hailey and Devon got all their belongings and took the long 9 hour ride back home. Although Hailey does admit she slept most of the way home she made sure to be awake to share the sunrise together! Hailey and Devon agreed it was a perfect first solo vacation they could’ve experienced! They thank god for letting them experience all his glory and getting them home safely.
