Brady and Hailey first met on Hinge. They matched on the dating app in February of 2022. Brady was impressed by Hailey's amazing archery skills and dad jokes while she loved that he played guitar and his dogs.

How the Couple Met

Brady and Hailey spent their first date going around different thrift shops in Old Town in Lansing. Brady planned on taking Hailey to an Italian restaurant, but they ended up going to their now favorite restaurant, Acapulco. Hailey liked how easy it was to be around Brady and that they could joke around with each other. It felt like they had already met. Brady liked how comfortable he was with her right away and how they played off of each other's humor.

The First Date

Brady and Hailey had been on a few dates before he asked her to officially be his girlfriend. They had spent the day together with her family in Grand Rapids and went to see the frozen waves in Grand Haven before going to the movies. Brady decided to ask her to be his girlfriend after spending an amazing day together.

Becoming Official

Brady took Hailey down to visit his Aunt Jackie in South Carolina after the couple had been together for three months. It was during this trip that they both realized how serious they were about each other and the relationship. Hailey knew that Brady was the one after they spent a day at the beach and talked about life goals with one another. Brady knew that she was the one throughout the trip because of how they were able to communicate and work through disagreements. He also liked that they both had goals that complimented each other.

The First Roadtrip

Brady told Hailey that he loved her for the first time while they were at her grandma's cottage. Brady was nervous but excited to tell her. Hailey said it for the first time while they were at the cottage together.

Saying I Love You

Every year, Brady's friends and family get together and go camping up in Traverse City. Brady brought Hailey and she met all of the most important people in Brady's life for the firs time.

The Traverse City Trip

In the fall of 2022, Hailey studied abroad in England. During this time, the couple faced the challenges of being in a long distance relationship. They did FaceTime movie nights where Hailey introduced Brady to the world of Twilight. The couple learned how to be patient with one another. Despite being apart, Brady and Hailey think that this helped them grow closer together.

Going Long Distance

Brady and Hailey celebrated their one year anniversary over the course of a weekend. Doing a paint-and-sip class, spending the day at the Great Lakes Crossing, and having dinner at the Rainforest Cafe.

Celebrating Their One Year

Brady and Hailey took their first long roadtrip together in June of 2023. They drove through New England, hitting destinations Scranton, Boston, and Salem then spending a few days in Acadia National park exploring the island before driving through Montreal and Toronto on the way home. Hailey's favorite spot that they visited was Salem, Massachusetts while Brady's is Boston.

Roadtrip to Maine

Brady and Hailey got their first dog together in October of 2023. After spending a weekend up at her apartment in Mount Pleasant. they were driving back to Brady's when they saw a sign for golden retriever puppies. They wanted to "just look" at the puppies but ended up walking away with their now 2-year-old golden retriever, Olive.

Adopting Olive

After nearly two years, the couple finally started living togerther in the summer of 2024.

Moving in Together

Brady proposed to Hailey in July of 2024 while the couple was watching the sunset over downtown Jackson.
