Little did they know on their first day of work that Hailey and John were about to meet their future spouse!

After ten years in Virginia, John decided to move to Arizona to be closer to family and took a job at a company that he knew very little about. Hailey is still grateful for that every day.

Hailey, born and raised in Arizona, had begun to settle into a more permanent life back where it all started after spending several years bouncing around the country and the world. John still can't believe his luck!

After working alongside each other for several months, Hailey took the leap and John was there to catch her. Pretty quickly, Hailey and John knew what they had found in each other was special and wasted no time finding a place to call home together.

Unbeknownst to them, 2020 was right around the corner in full force. Together, they faced the challenges of working from home, toilet paper scarcity, and raising a puppy together. Somehow, in the midst of a global pandemic, civil unrest, and... *gestures broadly* they realized they didn't want to face any more of life's roller coaster without each other.

John proposed to Hailey on a hike in Sedona next to a river in the forest on July 3rd 2020. Between the two of them and their puppy Rhaeya, it was a beautiful moment.

Their story continues on October 9th, 2021, and they can't wait to gather with their family and friends to celebrate!
