Hailey and Jason first met at the Seawall in the summer of 2016. From the very beginning, there was a fun-loving energy between them—a natural chemistry that made their friendship something special. While it was always a bit of an open secret that Jason had a crush on Hailey, the timing hadn’t quite lined up... until the summer of 2017.That summer, everything changed. On Hailey’s 21st birthday, Jason made his first move at Joey C’s in Stratford,&nbsp;Connecticut. He bought her a birthday shot, and the two ended up talking the whole night. Something clicked—and in that moment, they both began to realize this might be the beginning of something more.Their relationship grew slowly and beautifully, grounded in&nbsp;friendship and shared laughter. Hailey knew Jason was the one during a Florida Georgia Line concert, where they danced together in the rain, singing along to every song. It was one of those unforgettable moments where everything just felt right—like life had been leading them to each other all along.As the years went on, their journey continued through college graduations, new jobs, and all the big (and small) milestones in between. In 2020, they took the next big step and moved in together—marking the beginning of a new chapter.Living together taught them what it truly means to support one another. They grew even closer as they navigated life side by side, learning through challenges and celebrating the joys. That year, they welcomed their first dog, Milo—a lovable bundle of energy. Later came Louie, a surprise addition who brought the perfect dose of sweet chaos to their quirky little family.On the Fourth of July, Jason planned the proposal Hailey had always dreamed of. He chose Old Orchard Beach in Maine—a place filled with memories, from Hailey’s childhood family vacations to the marathon they ran together. But the real surprise came when they first arrived at their hotel. Milo walked into the room wearing a little backpack, and inside was the ring. As Hailey opened it, she turned to find Jason down on one knee, asking her to be his wife and partner for life.Surrounded by love, with both their families there to celebrate, it was the perfect start to their next chapter. It was a moment they’ll never forget—a long time coming, and absolutely worth the wait.Now, they’re getting ready to say “I do,” grateful for the journey that brought them here and excited for the lifelong adventure ahead.

The Trumbull Marriott Shelton is 5 minutes away from John and Angela Youngs house (parents of the bride). There is a 20 room block. The block rate for a King Guest room is $139.00 and a Two Double Bed Guest room is $159.00. Please reserve your rooms by September 10, 2025. The room block is available for a one or two night stay.
