The Hideaway has 2 canoes​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​, 3 fishing boats with electric motors, 2 kayaks, 2 stand-up paddle boards, fishing docks, a floating platform​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​, a vintage paddle boat, and a fully stocked boat house with life jackets, fishing poles, and tackle​.​​​​​​​​​​ The water is clear and great for swimming. All equipment is available for our guests to use during their stay!

Glendalough State Park is a ten minute drive from the Hideaway. The park offers hiking and biking, wildlife observation, heritage fishing/large panfish, canoeing on Chain of Lakes, and a sandy swimming beach.

The Shoreline restaurant is seven minutes from The Hideaway. It is an American restaurant known for breakfast, with a bar, a patio, and bowling alley.
