At the Grizzly House enjoy a taste of the exotic- and the eclectic. Examine the rustic décor and you will find wood paneled walls, a wood carved bear, totem poles, bearskin rugs, a buffalo head and even a mannequin riding a motorcycle. Glance around the room and you will see working phones at every table- a legacy from the restaurant’s former incarnation as a disco nightclub. Sit back and listen to the non-stop 70s music. The Grizzly House is interactive and entertaining.
In the warmer months, have a seat on our front patio. Take in the spectacular mountain views. Or simply watch visitors from around the world and locals stroll by along Banff’s busy main street. Full food and beverage menus are available on the patio.

Banff Ave Brewing Co. was founded in 2010, five years after the opening of our sister brewpub Jasper Brewing Co., the first brewery in a Canadian National Park. On any given day (or night) in our brewpub you might be sitting next to a world-class snowboarder, clinking glasses with a winner of the Canadian Death Race, or chatting with a legendary rock climber who literally wrote the book on climbing. Banff Ave Brewing is a place where locals come to share the stories of their mountain experience and plan the next one, and where out-of-town visitors come to feel comfortable and soak in the real Banff (it’s as warm and inviting as the hot springs, but it smells like beer and pizza instead of sulfur). Banff Ave Brewing is a reflection of the community, and our success is driven by the love the locals have shown for us over the years. We love them back, and we share that love of Banff with the world through our products and brand experience.
The Grizzly Paw Brewing Company is comprised of a Brew Pub located in downtown Canmore and a recently constructed picturesque Brewery located at 310 Old Canmore Road. The brewery currently produces craft beer and soda and offers interactive tours on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and during most holidays.
