Our Story

Our Story

In June of 2015 I met Brandon. I distinctly remember this day. I was in the pool at my house in Tifton, and heard an unfamiliar voice. I got out to see who was there. Low and be hold, there he was. There stood the man who would take my heart from that moment (I actually told a friend just months after that I would marry him one day. She thought i was crazy). He was propped up on the side of our friends white F-150. He had on khaki shorts, Sperry’s, a black Costa shirt, his sunglasses were around his neck, and his visor. That image of him has been burned into my mind since. Shortly after, we became really good friends. We hung out, and I was ALL about this South Ga boy.

In 2016, we went our separate ways and lost contact. Fast forward to 2020, December to be exact. He had crossed my mind that day, so I looked him up on Facebook. I sent him a friend request, then messaged him. We hung out that night and rode every dirt roads from Enigma all the way to Sumner- IYKYK. I remember just talking about where life had taken us and how crazy it was we reconnected. Me just thinking we were friends and that was all it was going to amount to…haha.. sike!

We started dating shortly after. The love he poured into me and still pours into me made me realize he was who I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. We have had each others backs, talked about the hardest of things, and loved like no other. We have been through deaths, hardships, health scares, and everything in between.

Our love has grown stronger and stronger since 2020. I had always said being 30 and getting engaged would be a bust, but then when it came on April 10th (my 30th birthday) I knew it wasn’t a bust. The excitement and butterflies I felt when he asked me to Marry him will be something I cherish forever. If it tells you anything, I took the ring and put it on myself 🤣.

Our story may not be perfect, but it’s perfect to me. The love our friends and family have poured into us and cheered us on is how I know God has his hand in this relationship. I can’t wait to be Mrs. Lasseter. I’m so grateful he chose me to be his wife. We cannot wait to celebrate becoming one on September 20, 2025 with yall!
