Garrett and Haleigh first met at their high school and Haleigh instantly had a crush on Garrett. Finally, after a year of trying, Garrett finally gave Haleigh a chance and soon fell madly in love. They officially started dating on January 13, 2019, and got engaged on October 19, 2024. Garrett planned a family trip to the tunnel of trees with Haleighs mom, dad, and sister. He knew it was important to have her family there. He planned that they stop at Petoskey Beach and walk the shoreline looking for rocks. Well Haleigh found her dream rock on that beach! While posing together for a picture, Garrett got down on one knee and asked Haleigh to marry him. Of course she said YES!
