Q + A

Can I RSVP in any other way besides online?

While we'd prefer and appreciate you RSVP using the QR code on your invitation, you can send us a text if necessary. Using the provided QR will ensure your RSVP is received and recorded!

What date should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by Saturday, May 18, 2024. This will give us plenty of time to plan seating, food, and drinks.

What is the address of your venue?

The address of our venue is 606 Mount Liberty Road Nashville, IN 47448.

Is your venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the venue is wheelchair accessible.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

No, due to budget and space limitations, we simply can't afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

While we invited your children (because we love them too!), due to space & budget restrictions we encourage you to attend without them if possible. If traveling or if finding alternate childcare isn't feasible, feel free to bring them!

What is the easiest way to get to and from your venue?

The venue is located outside of Nashville's city limits, so public transportation isn't a super reliable option. Plan to drive or rideshare (Lyft/Uber/etc.) to the venue if possible!

Is there parking available near your venue?

Yes, there is a parking lot on the property. We ask that you carpool with other guests if you're able, however, because the lot isn't large.

Will the festivities be indoors or outdoors?

Ideally, both! If the weather allows, we plan to do seating both indoors and outdoors. If the weather is inclement, we'll be partying indoors.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

No, unfortunately, we don't have room in our budget to procure lodging. If you plan to stay in Nashville overnight, please plan to book a room as soon as you're able.

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s)?

No, unfortunately, we don't have room in our budget to procure transportation. Please plan to drive to our venue.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Our dress code is "dressy casual." if you're unsure or need some inspo, copy & paste the following links. A cheat sheet from The Knot: https://www.theknot.com/content/what-to-wear-dressy-casual ~and~ a Pinterest board I made: https://pin.it/7sxOQf0je

Are there any colors or styles you'd prefer me to wear?

No, choose what you'd like! Just consider the dress code and the weather - and, obviously, don't wear white!

What is the weather like in the area?

The average high temperature in Nashville in mid-June is around 83 degrees, with the low around 63 degrees. There's an average of 8 rainy days each June. Consider this when choosing your attire. The barn itself is equipped with AC, so inside should be comfortable regardless of the temperature outside.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

We're planning charcuterie-style savory and dessert "grazing" tables. There will be no formal dinner served. If you're worried that won't be filling enough, plan to eat before attending.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Yes, there will be plenty of options!

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! Though we're serving only select beers & wines. No liquor will served.

Where are you registered?

We're registered at TravlersJoy.com, TheKnot.com, and Amazon.com. You can access our full registry by using the links at the top of this page! We've opted for a "honeymoon registry" since we already have everything that a newlywed couple typically needs!

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

We prefer that you send your gifts to the address available in our registry.

Why did I receive an invitation for your reception, but not your cermony?

We've opted for a very small ceremony with only our immediate families present.

What time should I arrive at your recpetion?

We ask that you arrive no earlier than 4:45 pm. This will give us ample time to finalize any last details before the start time of 5:00.

What time will your wedding reception end?

Our reception will end at 9:00 pm. The venue requires that all noise has ceased and guests have vacated the property by 10:00 pm. This one-hour window will be used for any necessary clean-up.

Could you suggest places to eat, drink and see while I am in town for your wedding?

Use the "Things To Do" tab on this website to access Brown County's visitor website!

Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?

No, only our reception will host our entire guest list.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

No, please don't. We've set aside a large portion of our budget for a professional photographer. We'd prefer that she be able to capture all of our pictures uninterrupted.

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

Again, please don't. We'd love to be able to share photos from our day first.

Where will wedding updates be posted?

Here, on our website!

I have more questions about your wedding, who can I contact?

You can contact Haleigh if you have additional questions.
