Our Wedding

Despite growing up in the same town, attending the same church, going to Texas A&amp;M, and sharing countless mutual friends, our paths somehow never crossed—until they finally did in the most unexpected way.We met while volunteering with the youth ministry program at St. Laurence Catholic Church. Haley was leading a group of 6th grade girls, and Tristan had a group of 6th grade boys. What followed were months of stolen glances, and a certain someone being affectionately referred to as “church boy” among Haley’s friends.It wasn’t until a retreat that we finally had the chance to talk—when Haley was asked to step in as the “nurse” after Tristan accidentally kicked a teen in the face with a soccer ball (a memorable first impression, to say the least!).Not long after, Tristan asked Haley on our first date, and we’ve been inseparable ever since.

Josh is Tristan’s best man. The two of them met in middle school and grew close over many late nights playing video games together. Josh moved to California in high school and the two remained very close and often visited. After moving back to Houston, Josh and Tristan became roommates. Over the years they have enjoyed getting to host friends at their apartment and will miss rooming with one another.

Holly is Haley’s little sister and lifelong best friend. From the very beginning, they’ve shared nearly everything—from after‑school activities and American Girl dolls to clothes that occasionally led to sisterly disputes, and of course, a last name. While that shared last name will soon change, the love and loyalty between them never will. Holly feels deeply grateful to call Haley her big sister and is thrilled to celebrate this new chapter and all that lies ahead.

William is the big brother of the bride. Haley and Tristan are overjoyed to be godparents to William and Sara's daughter Kathleen. William already considers Tristan part of the family and is excited to celebrate Haley and Tristan’s special day.

Sara is Haley’s sister-in-law. She has known Haley for over ten years, and considers her a true sister. Haley and Sara spent many early mornings together at Crossfit and loved to partner with one another. Haley also is to be the godmother of Sara’s daughter Kathleen.

Gabriel met Tristan through Holly Alexander and future Mrs. Bauer. Gabriel and Tristan have bonded over their shared love for engineering, Aggie athletics, and taking care of Lita. Gabriel considers Tristan to be a great friend and #EliteBallKnower for his NBA knowledge and choosing an Alexander woman.

Elise is Haley’s soon-to-be sister-in-law. Tristan told Elise about Haley from their very first conversation. So when plans were set for the Bauers to visit Elise in Nashville for Easter 2024, she said “bring Haley, I need to meet her”. Elise and Haley hit it off instantly and Tristan is now the 3rd wheel in Haley and Elise’s friendship.

Rahul became friends with Tristan in 2006 when he first moved to Sugar Land. They met in school and bonded through Boy Scouts. Since then, the two of them have been best friends. Rahul feels blessed to have seen Tristan's relationship with Haley from the beginning.

Haley and Michelle have been best friends since they met at Texas A&M in 2019. They could often be found playing dominoes at the Dixie Chicken, taking Lady for walks around the neighborhood, or watching Aggie Football! Michelle is so grateful that Haley has unwaveringly supported her in every season of life and she could not be happier to stand by Haley’s side as she marries Tristan, who is an answered prayer.

Ethan met Tristan 9 years ago when Josh Ridyard (best man) connected them through Fortnite. Despite living in separate states the two of them have been able to grow their friendship through video games, sports, books, anime, and traveling.

Bella grew up right across the street from Haley, and has known her since they were five years old. Some of their favorite childhood memories include playing webkins, adventuring outside and watching movies while eating popcorn with pickles! These days, they have traded playground time for Solidcore classes and trying out new restaurants around town. It has been really special growing up alongside one another.

Colin and Tristan met through Josh and Fortnite. Despite the fact that Tristan was in Houston and Colin was in the Bay Area, the two of them became great friends.

Makayla and Haley first met at just five years old, dancing ballet together. Although they went their separate ways for a time, they reconnected after high school through their mutual friend Bella and quickly grew inseparable. Since then, their friendship has flourished, and Makayla feels incredibly fortunate to have Haley in her life. Their bond has only grown stronger over the years, and it’s been especially meaningful to see Makayla’s husband, Dylan, and Tristan form a close friendship as well.

Tristan and Conner have been friends since kindergarten. After graduation, Conner moved to Chicago and after eight years is finally back in Texas - just in time for Tristan's newest season of life.

Carley and Haley’s friendship began in college when Carley became Haley’s big in their sorority, sparking an instant connection that has only grown stronger over the years. Since then, they’ve shared countless memories filled with laughter, fun, and unwavering support through every season of life. Haley has always felt like sunshine to Carley, bringing joy and lighting up every room she enters. Carley is so excited to see Haley marry Tristan and feels incredibly grateful to celebrate such a special and meaningful chapter in her life.

Tristan and Gerardo have been friends since middle school, where their paths first crossed in 6th grade band class back in 2011! From that moment, a lifelong friendship was born over shared interests and endless hours of video games.

Morgan and Haley met when they were all cheerleading bows and glitter in the sixth grade. From one man stunts to standing in each other’s wedding, they wouldn’t have wanted to grow up with anyone else. Cheers to the Bauers!
