Nashville is full of insanely fun things to do & food to try, but just incase you do not have anything on your bucket list already, feel free use Friday to check out Haley & Michael's favorites below.
Things to Do/Places to See:
1. Hit the town on Broadway. During the day is our favorite time to go to the bars on Broadway. There is always live music, great drinks and good food! Our favorites are: Chiefs, Kid Rock's, Tootsies, Teddy's Tavern & This Bar (Morgan Wallen).
2. Do a pedal tour or mobile bar crawl. There is no shortage of fun bar crawls here in Nashville. Whether you want to do so on a tractor, fire truck or a big truck with a jacuzzi, you are bound to have a great time.
3. Check out a few museums. The Country Music Hall of Fame is always a fan favorite, but if thats not quite what you're looking for there are others as well. Andrew Jackson's Hermitage, Lane Motor Museum, Nashville Parthenon & The Johnny Cash Museum just to name a few.
4. Check out the concert schedule for The Ryman & The Grand Ole Opry. Both the Ryman and Opry are Nashville musts!! Even if you are not a country music fan, it is always fun to see a show at either of these venues.
5. 12th South & The Gulch - Head over to either 12th South or The Gulch for a good walk, some coffee and some window shopping while you get your steps in.
Food to Try:
1. Daddy's Dogs - Located in Printers Alley, there's nothing quite like a hotdog to soak up a day of drinking and these aren't just your standard hotdog.
2. Hattie B's Hot Chicken - A Nashville staple, you cant leave with out trying it!!
3. Blanco Cocina - Now, don't expect California style Mexican, but it is still very yummy and right off broadway!
4. Church & Union - If you're looking something a bit more upscale this is a great place to try!! The food and cocktails are both creative and delicious.
5. The Bars - All of the bars on Broadway offer food during the day and at most places it is quite good! If looking to eat on Broadway, we recommend Jason Aldean's, Chief's, or Ole Red.
6. Rooftop Bars - Nashville is know for their rooftops, especially on Broadway. However, there are other places that have great rooftops as well through out the city. Do a quick Google search and make your reservations early as they book up fast!!
