A fun local soft-serve ice cream place on the Southside of Indianapolis. Walk up and order, feed the fish, relax!
Maybe not local, but another fun ice cream shop where they freeze the ice cream in front of you after you choose your ingredients- we like it!
Delicious local ice cream place in Broad Ripple along the Monon trail! Take a nice walk/ job/ run along the Monon and cool off with this delicious treat!
DELICIOUS ICE CREAM.
I bet you've guessed it.. it's an ice cream shop! SO YUMMY!
On Oprah's Favorite Things, the Cake Bake Shop is a super fun experience. HUGE CAKE, lots of glitter, French inspired. Grab a fun hat and share some cake! If you want to go here though, make sure you reserve a table at least 2-3 weeks in advance. They're always booked up.
Best Coffee in the city in Haley's opinion- also get the chocolate croissant. You're welcome.
Awesome coffee shop- gives good portion of money as donation to different charity/week.
A diamond in the rough. A BEAUTIFUL building with amazing coffee. The lavender latte is great.
A great place to get out for a nice walk, kayak, and enjoy some pretty trees :).
If you need a place to run/walk/bike, this would be a great option. You can hook up to this at Quaker Park and take it all the way downtown if you wanted to. Stop in Broad Ripple for some food, BRICS ice cream, etc.
If you need some yoga in your life over the weekend- this is a great studio.
A cute little 3 mile trip around the downtown canal. Rent a bike, enjoy the cultural trail and canal- go for a run, enjoy!
Even if you aren't a kid, this is an amazing museum with great exhibits for "kids" of all ages!
Check out the 100 Acres. The art museum here is pretty great as well, they have the first Iphone on exhibit... so there is that.
But really, it's a fun way to spend an afternoon, wandering around the architecture and the 100 acres.
Lots of food and a few fun shops. Downtown Indianapolis.
We love going to see comedy shows. Morty's is our favorite. Crackers is pretty good, too.
Get the Chicken Nachos. I know it's a burger joint. Just do it.
This is for the hipster type who want to stay true to their lifestyle and eat clean. The food is really good, but if you want a burger covered in blue cheese and bacon... don't go here.
Great drinks, great tacos, great guac. A fun place on Mass Ave.
A place we've always wanted to visit- we have heard this is THE place to go for brunch. Definitely call ahead and reserve a table.
The restaurant looks a bit like a dining hall, but the food is amazing and the portions are huge!
Bazbeaux is an awesome pizza place. Get it by the slice during the day.
This is purely for drinks, they don't serve food here. This is a really relaxed place and a great place to sip on a delicious beverage and catch up with friends/family. They allow dogs, too.
