I prayed many years while growing up for my future husband. I honestly thought I needed this person to complete me, but God was the only one that could fill that place. It wasn’t until I realized this and put everything in God’s hands that I would find my eyes open to the plan he had for me. I met Caleb Jayden Carlos officially at a stormy Brantley Vs. Luverne football game under the bleachers. At that moment I could never understand how much Jayden would be a blessing from God to my life. We became best friends and he even helped me get back into church. Meanwhile, I prayed to God to not have feelings for him because I didn’t want to mess things up. I mean who prays not to have feelings for someone? That’s crazy, but it worked. However, it only worked for a short time. I found myself realizing how much I loved this goofy guy. God opened my eyes showing me that this was his plan. I thank God every day for Jayden, and even though he may get on my last nerve I wouldn’t trade him for anything.
