On April 2 of 2016 Haley got notified that she had a new "match" on Tinder. Haley always thought of Tinder as more of a pastime at this point than an actual way to meet someone to date. Oh well, she checked it anyway. This is when she saw Eric. They started talking (Haley started the conversation). It was pretty obvious right away that they seemed to click. After about a week of talking on Tinder, they moved to texting. That same night Eric called her. Not really sure how long the conversation lasted, but it went on for a while. Haley was hooked right away. The problem? Eric was in New Mexico. Skype became their best friend and they would Skype every night. He came into town in early May for a meeting for his grad program. This is when they had their first official date. They ate at Fiddlers Elbow and drove around Salt Lake while Haley showed him the places that she spent all of her time growing up. From there, the rest is history.
