Haley and Logan met at a small group through their church's college ministry in the spring semester of 2023. They didn't know each other very well until they were formally introduced by mutual friends at a country music concert in February of that year. From that night on, those same mutual friends began to play match maker until Haley and Logan went to a Razorback baseball game together, where they realized they had much more in common than they thought.

About a month later, Logan finally asked Haley on their first date. They went out to dinner and talked for hours until the restaurant closed. After a few more dates, walks at the lake, and admiring each other's love for Jesus, Logan asked Haley to be his girlfriend on April 16, 2023.

They spent the next month getting to know each other as they prepared for a summer of long distance. While Haley worked at Kanakuk Kamps, they spent the summer writing letters to each other while the Lord continued to grow and shape them individually. Long-distance was not easy but they learned lessons that would prove to be invaluable in their lives and their relationship.

The Fall of 2023 was a semester of maturing as they learned to balance the busyness of life while growing in their love for each other. As they prepared for life after college, they began to plan their future together. During Christmas break, Logan was visiting Haley and her family in Mansfield, Texas. He asked her dad to lunch, where he asked and got permission to marry Haley.

From that day on, Logan began to plan the proposal behind Haley's back. He bought a ring, and kept the secret as best as he could with the help of her friends. On March 2, 2024, they went to what Haley thought was a surprise birthday party for his friend on a lake, except when they got to the lake there was no party, instead Logan asked Haley to marry him!

We are in awe of the way that the Lord sovereignly and graciously brought us together. He orchestrated our stories to meet, fall in love, and learn to glorify Him through our relationship. He has continued to grow our love for Him and teach us how the gospel leads us to love each other in a Christ-like way.

We are so excited to celebrate all that the Lord has done in our relationship and will continue to do in our marriage!
