Ben and Haley met in a high school elective cooking class, where they first locked eyes over freshly baked bacon cheddar biscuits. The aroma of the delicious treats were too much for Haley to ignore, so she slid into Ben’s Twitter (X) dm’s and sparked up a conversation. That summer in 2014, they began going on DQ dates and attending school dances together.

After graduating high school, Ben went on to attend Kutztown University and a year later Haley began college at Millersville University. This was the start of five tough years apart, where they worked out how to maintain a long distance relationship - sometimes only seeing each other once a month, if they had the free time.

After finishing college, they each returned home to West Chester. It did not take long after that for them to capitalize on no longer being long distance and finally move in together. They now share their home with two adorable crazy dogs, Sunny and Winnie.
