2023 was an unexpected year but the best year!

I met Tiaan around 4 years ago. He would come by my job all the time. He was so sweet, shy, and had a funny accent. He always had the sweetest smile on his face.

Fast forward to the beginning of 2023, I received a message on Facebook. It was from Tiaan. Originally I thought that he had a work related question, but to my surprise it was a message asking if he could get to know me. We started messaging and snapchatting everyday. We took the time to really get to know each other. He would ask me things about here and I would ask him things about South Africa. After Valentine's day he asked me to go on a date. I said Yes and we have been together ever since. Around the third date I knew he was the one but I didn't say anything. April 2,2023 we became "official". We have had so many first together!! On January 1,2024 standing in my hometown park full of Christmas lights, he asked me to spend forever with him. God works in mysterious ways!! Little did I know at the beginning of 2023 that I would meet the man I had been praying for or at the beginning of 2024 that I would be planning a wedding! God knew who he had for me all along and I can't wait to spend forever with him.
