The story starts when I was attending East Carolina University. I started school here in the fall of 2019 for Elementary Education. I had a few classes the first two semesters but I didn't meet Patrick until the Fall of 2020. I had a sweet friend, Jessica, that was in my Fall classes that year. We would help each other with homework and occasionally she would Facetime me so we could work together that way. This random guy would always pop up and ask, "Who is that? Is that the ice cream girl? Let me see her!" I thought he was cute and funny so as any normal girl would do, I would call her when I knew he was around so I could talk to him! We officially met at Jessica's tailgate on September 26, 2020. We talked the whole night, and from then on we just clicked and hung out every single day. And I'm talking... every ... single ... day... (Not sure how he didn't get tired of me lol)

Patrick officially asked me to be his girlfriend on December 2, 2020! It felt like him asking was taking forever!! I'm so thankful that he asked me, and we've been together ever since! He's introduced me to so many things such as gardening, traveling, and just to not take everything so seriously!

His family has been so kind to my family and I. They have been so fantastic and welcomed me with open arms. My family has done the same with Patrick and his family. My Dad was so excited to meet Patrick for the first time, he was acting more nervous than me!
