Big city girl meets small town boy....

Me and Trent met April of 2016, he was just finishing up college at Concordia in Seward and I was working as a hairstylist. With only about a month before graduation and him with plans to move back to Gothenburg we spent about as much time as we could together.

When he took a job back home we made the decision to do long distance, mostly me making trips on the weekends to spend the short 2 days learning the small town farm life and meeting his friends. Little did I know I’d soon be calling this town my home.

In October of that year I made the hard decision to pack up everything I’d known and move out to a town I’d only spent the weekends at. It was a rough few months but Trent supported me and kept me laughing through it all which made the transition easier.

On August 13, 2017 Trent texted me while I was at working asking if we could go for a drive when I got home, something that was normal for us on nice nights. We drove out to a lake a couple miles outside of town and walked out onto the dock where he asked me to marry him!
