Q + A

Is there a dress code?

Yes! The dress code is formal. Cocktail dresses and suits. We kindly ask our guests to wear all BLACK attire.

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin punctually at 2:00 PM. Please arrive no later than 1:45 PM. The doors will shut at 1:55 PM. If you arrive after this time, you will not be allowed into the ceremony. You will still be able to attend the reception, so hang tight and we will see you then! Thank you for understanding.

Is there parking on site?

Yes! There will be free parking at the church and free parking at the reception venue! Both parking lots have security.

What time is the reception?

Our reception will begin at 5pm at Anheuser-Busch Brewery (1200 Lynch St, St. Louis, MO). In between the ceremony and the reception, Anheuser-Busch Brewery is kindly allowing guests to go on a free brewery tour!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony and the reception will both be held indoors.

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to limited venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless it is specifically indicated on your invitation. For example, your invitation would list "(your name) & Guest." For families, it will list "(your name) & Family" or "The (your last name) Family."

Are children welcome?

Although we love your little ones, we regretfully cannot accommodate everyone's children at our wedding due to restricted numbers and space. Please refer to your invitation to see if we are able to accommodate your children. If we are unable to invite your children, we appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and hope that you will see this as an opportunity to let your hair down and enjoy the party with us!

How does seating work?

The ceremony will be open seating! The bride will stand on the left side and the groom will stand on the right side. Please sit wherever is the most comfortable for you. The first few rows will be reserved for close family/friends and the wedding party. The reception will have seating arrangements, which will be carefully picked so our guests are sat with those they know (or their plus one).

Can we take our own pictures and videos throughout the day?

Our ceremony inside the church will be unplugged. For this, we ask all phones and cameras to be put away and there to be no pictures or videos taken during the ceremony. You are more than welcome to take photos and videos throughout the course of the reception. This is such a special day for us, and we have the most amazing photography and videography team documenting our entire day.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! The bar will be open throughout the duration of the reception. Please consume alcohol responsibly.

Since there will be alcohol, what do we do about driving?

We DO NOT want anyone drinking and driving. We recommend rideshare apps (Lyft, Uber) for transportation if you plan on drinking! It is safe to leave your car in the brewery parking lot, but make sure to get your car the next morning if you plan on leaving your vehicle overnight. There will be security guarding the premises.
