It all started in September of 2019. Jeffrey and Haley had mutual friends running a booth at the Resonance Music Festival. That weekend, Haley looked at this beautiful, dirty blond boy sitting on the ground with all of his jewelry creations, and had no idea what to say because she was so in awe of him. Finally she decided to say "hey wire wrap kid, can you fix my ring" without hesitation (though she should have tried to figure out something better to say) and he glanced up at her and didn't say anything. Embarrassed, Haley ran away.

In the spring of 2020, Covid had taken the world for a spin. Haley had been at home for weeks and Jeffrey living out of his car, and at this point, one day scrolling through good ol Facebook, Jeffrey had appeared, so Haley sent him a friend request, and he quickly accepted. Time went on and Haley was moving to Oregon with nothing to gain, and nothing to lose, and posted that information for friends and family with no expectations. Jeffrey had commented, "Woohoo! You got a friend in Eugene!!!! See you soon and safe travels!" and Haley was so excited to have a friend in a new place.

Meanwhile, Jeffrey had been living a nomadic life and on his way to Colorado before he turned around with a feeling Eugene Oregon was where he was meant to go. Two days after Haley's arrival, Jeffrey took her on their first date to the Eugene Farmers Market. The date was awkward, drinking Chai Tea and wandering around, but there was this crazy connection brewing. After their first date, Jeffrey asked Haley for a kiss, and she melted into him. After that my friends, the rest is history.
