Ashton and I officially met in 2019 after my mom graciously let him know I was finally single.

Ashton and I went to high school together so we knew who each other were, but never ran in the same circles. Ashton still says he always talked about me and had a “crush”. I still don’t believe It to this day. He has known my family for many years, but spring of 2019 he reached out to me on Facebook. Eventually he asked me on a date, and I said yes. Our first date was interesting to say the least. We first went to Tuscan pig to eat, and then enjoyed drinks at RMC. If you don’t know what RMC you will have a laugh if you look It up.

We continued to go on dates while I lived in Tyler trying to get through nursing school, and he was running Bodacious working long hours. In July of 2019 he finally asked me to be his girlfriend. Come fall when I graduated, Ashton was hell bent on buying a house for us and sure enough he did. We moved in together March of 2020. We added an addition to our life our best boy, Willie Nelson, in April of 2020. In the fall of November 2020 Ashton and I went to Boston and It immediately became a special place to us. We went back to Boston April of 2023 and took a walk in the park where he proposed to me and I made the best decision of my life.
