Haley and Chase met at Milligan University where Haley studied Biology in her undergrad and Chase was obtaining his masters in Sports Management. It was not necessarily love at first sight, but the two had an eye on each other. Ultimately, they met through Haley’s best friend, Cora, who was beginning to dabble in sports photography. The first time they ever talked was when Chase gave Haley his chair to sit on at a basketball game. Then, about a week later they went on their first date! They played mini golf, ate at Olive Garden, and got ice cream before they watched a movie together. After that, they started dating about a week after and the rest was history. For Chase’s proposal to Haley, he recreated their first date and surprised her at her hometown ice cream shop with her family there. They now enjoy playing disc golf, hiking, playing pickleball, and going to see movies at the movie theatre. Haley is now working as a Nursing Assistant at a hospital to obtain hours and earn some experience for PA school while Chase works as the Head Coach for Disc Golf and Head of Creative Marketing at Carson Newman University while he obtains his MBA. The two will move into their apartment together in Jefferson City, TN after their marriage in October.
