Our story goes way back to 2019 in Edmond, Oklahoma where against all odds, a Texas girl and a French boy met and fell in love. Seems simple? Well it has been anything but that. After meeting through mutual friends our sophomore year of college, we became quickly inseparable and after just a few months of dating Haley flew out to visit Kylian in France for a trip of a lifetime. After the Summer we were reunited back in Oklahoma for our junior year of college. As we all know, COVID threw everyone for a loop, including us. Kylian returned home to France unexpectedly separating us for about 5 months which was a true test of our relationship. After that little hump we finished out our college years together and got our first place together in Edmond, Oklahoma. Long story short, Kylian had to return home to France due to his Visa ending and him wanting to pursue his professional golf dream there. Haley joined him there for a year of a lot of fun travel and lots of golf courses! After this year came to an end, we embarked on another long distance journey, connecting through face-time as often as the 7 hour time difference permitted and flying to see each other every 3 months. The time had finally come when we both had decided that we were ready to say yes to forever with each other (in the same country). On January 5th, 2024, Kylian proposed to Haley while in France and she said yes!! Despite all odds, challenges, 5000+ miles of distance, visas, many flights, and hard goodbyes and going on 6 years of continuing to choose each other, we are so excited to finally be able to take the next step to spend our lives together!
