If you ask Haley, she says that Connor house sat for her and never left... If you ask Connor, he says she made the first move.

Haley did ask Connor to escort her to a wedding, that was a year away… They had gone out casually, it was awkward and Connors game was weak. He seemed like a nice, safe escort for an upcoming wedding she would be in, but Haley was sure he was too nice and not her type. So she continued to talk with him and eventually asked him to escort her. But her opinion was, he was just a nice guy with a six pack.Haley and Connor continued to talk over the next few weeks, and to “low key hang out”. However, with an upcoming vacation looming Haley needed a trustworthy, non stalker, violent type to babysit her sweet Duke.Once again, nice Connor seemed like the right person to ask. No pressure, hot, and available for free pet sitting.Haley continued to lead poor nice guy Connor on just to get a date to a wedding, and now watch her puppy while she vacationed.Winter turned into spring, Haley went on vacation and left a practical stranger in her home. She however, relentlessly stalked him on her security cameras, and discovered he was honest, sweet, reliable and incredibly ripped. Also, he loved Duke. Maybe this nice guy had more to offer than she first thought.When Haley returned home from vacation, Connor had gone the extra mile by cleaning the house, buying wine, Haleys favorite flower, and had written her a beautiful love letter.Haley was slowly realizing she was worth this kind of love. A love she had never been shown. Kindness, coupled with respect, and acts of service began to heal her broken heart.Weirdly- house-sitting meant “Lets move in together” to Connor. There isnt much more to Connors side. Other than Haley needed him, and he needed her- so he took the opportunity to express himself, and share his heart...and he moved in. He didnt give up, or walk away on the hard days at the beginning...and he still patiently and quietly loved Haley in the strong steady way only he can.Connor and Haleys romance required them to choose each other quickly, and required them to decide if this love was worth the risk. Many have doubted, and questioned... but they were ready for each other before they had even met. The decision to spend the rest of their days together was as natural as Connor realizing he was home when he watched Duke. There was no reason to leave, Haley is Connors home and he ishers...their story is one that shows love is there and waiting even when you arent looking. God is always working in mysterious ways.
