There are a few options for airports of varying distances and prices. Drive times are estimates. Minneapolis is a 4 hr 20 min drive. Milwaukee is a 4 hr 15 min drive. Green Bay is a 2 hr 45 min drive. Appleton is a 3 hr drive. Wausau is 1 hr 45 min drive. Chicago O'Hare is a 5 hr 15 min drive

Once you arrive in Eagle River, if you are staying at the venue the wedding is located, you will not need a car. There are plenty of activities at the resort, including an outdoor pool, swimming area near the lake, docks for fishing, outdoor volleyball, tennis and racquetball courts, and an indoor arcade. If you need help getting to Eagle River, I would anticipate needing a car rental or coordinating arrivals with other guests for car sharing.
