Nicholas & Haley Elise's story is somewhat of a southern fairytale.

Haley Elise was working as a graduate assistant at The University of Alabama's Child Development Research Center and Nicholas was working as an EMT for Northstar Paramedic Services in Tuscaloosa.

Picking up shifts in between classes, Nicholas happened to notice a shift was available for a few hours; little did he know that he'd be meeting the love of his life. When he arrived for his shift, his supervisor and partner, Chris Byrd, said that they'd be headed to the Child Development Research Center for a community heroes week to show kids the back of an ambulance and take them through a medivac helicopter.

Upon arriving at the CDRC, Nicholas quickly noticed Haley Elise and was able to convince her colleagues to introduce one another and give him her phone number. After some conversation with no where to go while the helicopter took off, Haley Elise's and Nicholas' first date was set.

Since that day, they've figured out that their parents have the same anniversary (the same weekend they'll be getting married, 36 years later), they've grown deeply in love with one another and have built their lives together in Boston with their beloved pup, Maximus Prime, sharing their love of food, family, friends and travel together. The love, respect and devotion that Nicholas and Haley Elise have built with each other is indestructible and they both could not be more excited to share their vows with each one of you this weekend in the same place that their love story began: Tuscaloosa.
