Nolan and Haley met while both attending UMass Amherst. Though the exact date is unknown, they became close when they both chose to live in Amherst the summer before their Junior Year. With both of them being athletes, they ran in the same circles and often found each other hanging out with the same people. They loved to go on long walks at night talking about the future and all of the plans they had.

Timing was everything for them. It wasn't until a serendipitous meet up at their favorite college bar, McMurphy's, that the two decided to officially pursue each other. After a few gin and tonics, a borrowed flannel and a late night drive around town -- it was clear that the stars had aligned for Haley and Nolan.

After a couple of years dating in college, life's next steps took them in a different direction when Haley moved to Buffalo, NY to teach and Nolan stayed to work in MA. The two parted ways and were not officially reunited until two years later.

On a beautiful Saturday in the summer of 2019, Haley and Nolan chose to reconnect on the beach where they had shared many memories before. The love was obvious, and they have been inseparable ever since.

They now are the loving parents to Bear, their Australian shepherd/border collie, and live happily on a farm in North Andover.
