Please note we will be providing shuttle service to the Courtyard Marriott hotel in St. Jacobs throughout the reception following dinner service. This will be available for all guests staying at the hotel or looking to use St. Jacobs as a drop off/pick up spot to return home or transit to other accomodations.

Please note this hotel does not hold blocks of rooms, therefore all bookings are first come first serve. The hotel has 118 rooms but we recommend booking as soon as possible to guarantee availability. We will provide a shuttle for the convenience of all guests staying at this hotel. 1. Courtyard by Marriott Waterloo St. Jacobs

This thirty room boutique hotel is located onsite at the reception venue. Most rooms feature indoor seasonal fireplaces and soaker tubs, and all rooms feature king-sized beds, marble walk-in showers within expansive bathrooms and the seasonal comfort of in-floor radiant heating. Due to the small number of rooms and premium prices we are recommending guests consider booking at the Courtyard Marriott or one of the charming local airbnbs instead.

Elora Mill

This traditional bed and breakfast is a 12 minute walk from the venue. It features six guest rooms, each with private bath. King, queen or two single beds are available and breakfast is included. Two adults maximum per room. No pets or children under 12. A two-night stay is requested on weekends&nbsp;June through October. Please note: There are stairs leading up to these rooms.

Haley's long time best friend, former roommate and fellow baker. Haley and Hollie met as roommates in first year of architecture school and never looked back. Hollie now lives and works as an architect in New York but the dream of one day opening Gamble & Sin Architects lives on!

Hollie Sin

The Phillips middle child. Colin broke Michael's arm twice growing up and still somehow managed to become best man. That's a testament to how well these two guys get along. From Colin joining Michael in Texas on a whim, to crashing his graduation trip on a cruise with mom around the Mediterranean, Colin never misses an opportunity to join Michael's good times.

Colin Phillips

Long time friend and former classmate of Haley's in architecture school. Kelsey and Haley became friends through a work term together in LA. Kelsey moved to California after school to help design the LA skyline but she has made the trek back to Ontario to be an important part of Haley & Michael's wedding party. 

Kelsey Malott

Michael's oldest brother and frequently Best Pal. Joey has guided Michael through many firsts including his first time drinking when he turned 19, helping Michael realize that siblings can also be best friends.

Joey Phillips

Long time friend and former architecture classmate of Haley's. Winona and Haley became friends during their first co-op work term when Haley would make the drive back to Waterloo from Goderich on the weekends to hit the bars with Winona. Winona now lives and works in downtown Toronto where she lets Haley crash on her couch when she's in town.

Winona Li

Patrick is one of Michael's older brothers and they've gone on many adventures together, including camping down in Connecticut. When he came back from Seminary, he refused to break any laws, including speeding. When it transitioned from 80km/hr to 50km/hr, he'd slam on his brakes to make sure he didn't speed even by 1km/hr. This was quite frustrating for Michael. Later he bought a BMW and never went under 20 over the speed limit from then on.

Patrick Phillips

Michael's sister and Haley's soon to be sister-in-law. As the younger sister of four brothers Mary Kate was often the guinea pig of her siblings antics however this has only made her stronger and well prepared to raise her new son baby William with the help of her husband Liam. They have made the trip from their Calgary apartment where they hosted Haley & Michael last year for Stampede. 

Mary Kate Phillips

Michael's business partner and best friend. They co-founded Vena Medical after working on all of their school projects together through Waterloo Engineering. Michael realized he found the smartest guy in his class so he latched onto his coattail and for some reason, Phil drug him through to a degree. 

Phil Cooper

Childhood friend of Haley's. Olena first met Haley in Grade 6 and was known to host legendary sleepovers throughout junior high and high school and probably still has photo evidence of the sugar fuelled 2am movie marathons. Olena and Haley have maintained their friendship throughout university and beyond and continue to meet up for good food and good conversation anytime Olena's in town. She currently lives in Ottawa as she finishes her PhD. 

Olena Klahsen

There is a still an ongoing argument between Matt and Michael regarding when they first met. Matt refuses to accept that Michael also went to Sussex Elementary School and thinks he only showed up in middle school. Michael invited Matt to his seventh grade birthday when they hit it off playing Guitar Hero until 4am. Bromance ever since.

The St. Jacobs Market District is home to the St. Jacobs Farmers’ Market, the largest year-round indoor/outdoor farmers’ market in Canada.&nbsp;This is great option for breakfast and other treats for anyone staying at the Courtyard Marriott across the street. &nbsp;

Specifically we are inviting any guests in town the evening of Saturday, October 11th to join us at Concordia Club's Oktoberfest for food and entertainment. Bingemans is a recreation, entertainment and events destination in Waterloo. Home to family friendly activities such a FunworX Indoor Playland and Kingpin Bowlounge and adult events like Screampark and Oktoberfest this is a great place to visit for any out of town guests staying the weekend.
