Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
All events are outdoors. The ceremony will be taking place in a grass lawn alongside the river. Guest will then walk down a path to the reception in an adjoining meadow for cocktail hour + reception. We recommend flat-soled shoes to avoid sinking into the grass. The area can be quite uneven.
What should I wear to the wedding?
The suggested dress code is Garden Cocktail, dressy yet outdoor-friendly attire suited for grass and uneven terrain. Heels are NOT recommended. Since everything will be outdoors, we recommend bringing a warm jacket or an extra layer—it gets chilly in the mountains after sunset. Dress to impress, but be ready for mountain air and uneven ground.
What should I wear to the Welcome Party?
The suggested dress code is Mountain Chic. Think flowy dresses, cozy layers, and cowgirl boots, sandals, or block heels for women. For men think tailored shirts, vests or jackets. Dress to impress, but be ready for mountain air and uneven ground.
What will the weather be like this time of year?
Most days are in the 70s or 80s in July. However, we are in the mountains so once the sun goes down, it can get quite cold. Be sure to bring a jacket. On the rare occasion there are thunderstorms, so come prepared for everything.
Are kids allowed?
Yes! We love kids and believe they make celebrations even more special. Children are welcome to join us for our big day, and we can’t wait to celebrate with guests of all ages! Please check for all guest names on the RSVP tab.
How and when do I RSVP?
Online RSPVs will open when formal invitations are sent out. We kindly ask that you reply by May 19th.
What is dry camping?
Dry camping is self-contained RV and tent camping; there is no electrical or sewage hookups. Which means you should check that your RV/trailers have a generator or propane tank for electricity and hot water. Guests at the Upriver will have access to a public bathroom and an indoor lodge area with plug-ins. If you are tent camping at Upriver, we encourage you to bring battery and propane operated devices.
Can I park at the venue?
Please park at The Upriver where a shuttle will take you to and from the venue. A limited number of parking spots are available at the venue for elder guests, those with special needs, or anyone who plans to leave early. If this applies to you, please let us know so we can reserve a space for you.
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately, furry friends are not allowed at wedding activities or The Upriver. Text Haley if you have any questions.
