Our story begins in 2019 during Christmas break while working at Orscheln Farm & Home in Durant, Oklahoma.

Haley was cheering for Southeastern Oklahoma State University (SOSU) in Durant, Oklahoma. During this time, Haley got a job at Orscheln's—somewhere you would ordinarily never find her at—to save money for a study abroad trip to France.

Chase was playing baseball for Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Chase came home for the holidays and worked at Orscheln's for some extra money over his break.

On their first shift together, when Chase first saw Haley walk in, he states that he thought to himself “this girl is either the ‘Haley’ on the schedule or she is about to get the best customer service of her life.” Shortly after working together for a few days, Chase asked Haley out on their first date to Applebee’s after he got off work because nowhere else in Durant was open late enough for dinner.

Since then, Haley and Chase have made lasting memories for the past 4 years. On December 29, 2023, Chase got down on one knee in front of the Christmas tree in the Fort Worth Stockyards and asked Haley to marry him. Fun fact, Haley and Chase typically take a picture in front of this Christmas tree every year. She said yes and now we have a wedding to celebrate!
