Nathan and I first met in high school, growing up in neighboring small towns and sharing many of the same friends. As the years went on, we became closer through those mutual friendships. While I was in college, I worked with Nathan's sister, Katie, who constantly tried to convince me that Nathan and I would be a great match. Despite everyone's efforts, I insisted that we were "just friends."

Nathan, however, had other plans. After asking me out more than once and patiently waiting for me to come around, he finally convinced me to give him a chance.

In November 2022, Nathan officially asked me to be his girlfriend. I was still naive and shocked, and without thinking, said yes! Since then, we've built our relationship through plenty of miles and long-distance phone calls while Nathan traveled for work. Through every challenge, we've learned that no matter where life takes us, we're always better together.

In January 2026, Nathan proposed during a ski trip in Colorado, making one of our favorite adventures even more unforgettable. We are so excited to begin this next chapter together. While Nathan continues his career working on wind turbines and I finish graduate school to become a Speech-Language Pathologist, we look forward to building a life, a family, and countless memories together.

Most of all, we're grateful to celebrate this special day surrounded by the people we love. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
