We met at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp while working on the International Exchange program. Haley was a counselor for the Symphony Orchestra and Thomas was a counselor for the Choir. The choir and the orchestra meet in Wittstock, Germany, for a few days of combined concerts and activities. Haley and Thomas hit it off and naturally gravitated towards each other during a day trip to Berlin.

After a few dates spread across northern Indiana, we officially became a couple.
