Our Wedding

Blakely and Haley's story began in high school Spanish class at Ayersville High School. Haley, a freshman, and Blakely, a sophomore, quickly became fond of each other. Haley was drawn to Blakely’s sense of humor, while Blakely was captivated by how beautiful Haley was. For months, they were both too shy to make the first move, until January, when Blakely finally asked Haley out on a date. Just a month later, on February 4, 2019, Blakely asked Haley to be his girlfriend. And from that moment on, time has flown by. As high school sweethearts, they attended every dance together, and Haley was there at nearly every football, basketball, and baseball game, missing only two! High school flew by in the blink of an eye, and Blakely graduated in 2021, with Haley following a year later in 2022. After graduation, Blakely headed to Bowling Green State University to study Construction Management, while Haley pursued Paralegal Studies at The University of Toledo. College brought both challenges and unforgettable moments, but through it all, they supported each other. During their college years, they both faced tough personal losses, but with each other's love and support, they overcame those hardships. The couple graduated together on December 14, 2024, from their respective universities. A few months later, just three days after their six-year anniversary, Blakely got down on one knee at Boyne Mountain during a family ski trip. Now, as they prepare to marry, they can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of their closest family and friends!

Holiday Inn - Defiance

TRANSPORTATION We’ve hired Flying D, LLC to provide shuttle service between the hotel and the reception. Shuttles will run from the hotel to the ceremony, 3:00 PM–6:00 PM, and from the reception back to the hotel, 9:00 PM–12:00 AM. We rented a 15‑passenger bus, so multiple loops may be required—please plan accordingly.
