Coming from a small town of course I knew who the Vinckier’s were and Joey knew who the Kettlewell’s were, but we never really crossed paths with each other. That all changed when Joey decided to spy on our prices and do comparisons at the Yale A&W, well little did he know he was about to check out more than just our prices that day. Later that day after I left work I had a Snapchat notification saying Joe Vinckier would like to be your friend, I thought to myself “Joe Vinckier, what the heck does he want??”, and I gladly accepted. Soon after I accepted, I had Snapchat message asking how I as doing, and after a few more messages I gave him my number and we never stopped texting or calling after that. After about two weeks of talking we went out on our first date at the vintage tavern in Port Huron and of course it went great, I wasn’t nervous at all but if you ask Joey how he felt he would say he was sweating bullets. If you ask both of us we would both say after the first date we knew something special would happen between us. I knew shortly after Joey would be the one I would marry, especially when he offered to come over to my apartment and help decorate my Christmas tree with me (what other guy would offer to do that?? He was the one!) Joey said he knew I was the one when I got along and mingled with his HUGE family, and how I could memorize everyone’s names so quickly. I guess you could say we wouldn’t have found each other without A&W, and its a true A&W love story after all! We are both so excited for our big day and we can’t wait to share it with all of our family and friends.
