Where is the Wedding?
It will be held at Mount Vernon Canyon Club 24933 Club House Cir Golden, CO 80401. There is on site parking or easily accessible via Uber or Lyft
Is the Wedding Indoor?
The Ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors with an indoor reception to follow.
What is the dress code?
Cocktail attire: We suggest men wear a suit or dress shirt with a tie and women wear a midi- or knee-length dress or dressy separates. Bonus points if you can subtly show off whatever you are nerdy about!
What is the weather like?
We will be in the foothills of Colorado in early November. There is a strong chance it will be cold and a possibility of snow. Be sure to dress accordingly, jackets are welcomed and encouraged.
Am I allowed to bring my children?
Unfortunately, we cannot host any children at our wedding. We appreciate your understanding.
Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?
Yes! Just let us know when you RSVP if there are any restrictions and we will gladly make sure you have something to eat.
Will there be an open bar?
Absolutely. We just ask you to drink responsibly, and to use Uber/Lyft/designate driver to get home if you plan on partaking.
What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?
We ask that you arrive at least 20 minutes before the ceremony begins. The ceremony is set to start at 4PM.
What time will your wedding reception end?
Reception will end at 10PM
Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
Yes please do! You are welcome to share any photos on social media, and be sure to use the hashtag #ReadyForSomePfen
What are the signs of altitude sickness
At almost 6000ft, you might experience some symptoms of altitude sickness such as headaches, fatigue, nausea, loss of appetite, dizziness, and trouble sleeping. These will usually go away in a day or two, just give yourself some time to rest or get some oxygen in a can.
