Kush and Haley first met in September of 2021 when they walked into the same small group at church. Haley was the first to open conversation between them when she overheard Kush talking about how “Cincinnati was better than Cleveland” and wasted no time in defending her hometown. Despite the unconventional introduction, Kush and Haley got to know each other over the next two months before Kush asked Haley on a date to see the Christmas lights at the zoo.

Over their time dating Kush and Haley have made many memories through new jobs, graduations, dating long distance for a year, and so much more. A few of their favorite things to do while spending time together include cooking up a meal after a Trader Joe’s run, going on hiking trips, and sharing their favorite pictures of Vizslas.

On September 9th, 2023, exactly two years after first meeting each other, Kush asked Haley to marry him at the same spot on Mount Adams where they first said “I love you”. If there’s one thing they’ve learned throughout the relationship, it’s that God is faithful and has a better plan than we can write ourselves. Kush and Haley look forward to celebrating their upcoming marriage on June 1st with their closest friends and family!
