October 2021

The long version of our story started in October 2021 when my best friend, Brenna, and I drove up to Penn State to visit her boyfriend (now husband), Kyle. That weekend we went to the Penn State football game where we sat with a group of Kyle's friends from his accounting program, including Matt. During the game I sat directly next to Matt and despite casually talking to him throughout the game, we each went our own ways afterwards not thinking anything of it.

June 2022

Fast forward a few months later, our friend group from Penn State decided to take a trip to Nashville for a small reunion. Kyle brought a couple of his friends from his accounting program, including Matt again. After spending hours in the car, it didn't take long to know that there was a connection. We continued to get closer throughout the week and went on our first date shortly after arriving back home.

July 2023

On July 8th, 2023, Matt and I had plans to go to one of our favorite spots, Grace Winery, with our friends Brenna and Kyle. Shortly after arriving to the winery, I knew something was up when Matt started walking me towards a gazebo rather than our typical tasting room spot. At the gazebo, Matt got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Before I knew it both of our families were running towards us to celebrate! Matt and I are beyond excited to get married on June 9, 2024 and start the rest of our lives together!
