Our Wedding

Haley and Andrew met at a wedding in Iowa City in 2021 when they were paired up as partners in the bridal party. Haley's friend, Ally, married Andrew's cousin, Danny. Ally even mentioned to Haley she thought it would be fun to see the two interact as Andrew was the quiet guy while Haley was the more outgoing one. Opposites must attract, because Haley and Andrew hit it off and became quite inseparable after the wedding. Haley lived in Pekin while Andrew lived in Des Moines, but they hardly went more than a week or two without seeing each other. That boring 4 hour drive and Interstate 80 became the norm every weekend when they took turns visiting each other or taking weekend trips together. The long distance got old, so after about a year Haley moved to Des Moines in early 2023. In February 2024, Andrew proposed. :)

Jaclyn has been Haley's best friend for over 15 years and is soon to be her sister-in-law when she marries Haley's brother, Trent, in October 2025.

Anna is one of Haley's oldest friends.  They have been friends since the sixth grade and have maintained a close friendship ever since. Only fitting to include an old picture!!

Rachel and Haley met in college at the University of Iowa, where they ended up rooming together for four years and have been close friends ever since!

Ally is one of Haley's college friends that she now gets to call family. Ally is married to Andrew's cousin, Danny, which is how Haley and Andrew met!

Abby and Haley were friends in high school, and then became even closer when they both attended college together at Iowa.

Andrew and Robbie went to Iowa State together and have been close friends ever since. Robbie has been a great friend to Andrew over the years.
